Blue Agave tequilana aka "Blue Weber" is native to the high altitude Jalisco area de Mexico. This is the blue agave plant that the spirit Tequila is made from.

Aloe flower nectar is a favorite of hummingbirds world wide in semi-tropical environments (USA zone 10) and (USA zone 11). The tiny hummers also like to perch on the tips of the aloe leaves, their weight of an ounce or two barely bending the accomodating plant leaves. Aztec legend says the god of music and poetry took the form of a hummingbird and then descended into the underworld to visit the goddess of love, who then gave birth to the first flower.
